Dear Parents,
Surely we are living in uncertain times and navigating through uncharted waters. Now more than ever before, it is important to encourage our children to draw closer to Jesus. With the coronavirus forcing schools to close, I want to let you know about our NEW network, Kids Club for Jesus. We currently offer many Christ-centered programs that your children can watch on demand and are actively adding content to our website, www.kidsclubforjesus.org. Our target audience is ages 15 and younger, but many adults enjoy our programs too. You can watch via our
website or download our free app, Kids Club for Jesus.
The popular Kids Time program is now available on our network and we’ll soon be adding Kids Time Praise. You won’t want to miss these exciting programs and the best part - you can choose “what" you want to watch . . . “when” you want to watch! This program features a variety of segments including, nature, science, Bible stories, music and so much more!
To make it really easy for kids around the world to participate, we’ve just added three new programs. Rather than having to travel to a studio to record a program, families can simply record videos on their phones and send them to us. In fact, you may already have some saved that you would like to share! Please fill out the Release Form giving us permission to post your video. Rather than printing the form and sending it back to us, you can fill out the form online by visiting this link: https://www.kidsclubforjesus.org/release-form.html.
No matter what country you live in, children 15 years old or younger can be featured on our Kids Club for Jesus network. We are accepting videos for the following categories:
Preaching: If your child has preached God’s word in your church, in your school, home or anywhere else, please send us a video. It can even be as simple as a “spiritual thought” instead a full sermon. Your child’s video might be the encouragement others need to give their hearts to Jesus! So, why not let your kids' light shine for Jesus today?
Musically-Talented: Does your child have a musical talent that God has given? If you would like your child to be considered, please send us a video of them singing or playing an instrument and send it to us. Families and groups are also encouraged to send a demo as long as at least one member is 15 years old or younger.
Memory Verses: Reciting memory verses is something every child can do! It can be just one verse or a whole chapter - it’s entirely up to them! Please make sure that the verse(s) is memorized (no cue cards, please!) and encourage your kids to use expression in their voices when reciting God’s Word. And don’t forget to mention the text in the Bible where the scripture is found. You may enter as many scriptures as you like.
**Please remember to complete and sign the required release form found here: https://www.kidsclubforjesus.org/release-form.html. We won’t be able to post your video without receiving your written permission. Email your video(s) or video link to our General Manager, Mellisa Hoffman, at mellisa@kidsclubforjesus.org. All submissions will be submitted to our review committee and, if selected, will be featured on our network.
Videos will be posted on www.kidsclubforjesus.org as well as featured on our Kids Club for Jesus app.
Besides watching our programs, we offer fun contests, Bible studies, arts and crafts, science and nature activities, and even a daily devotion!
If you are not a parent, please encourage all parents you do know to visit our website and/or download our app! With this extra time kids have at home now, our new network, Kids Club for Jesus, will not only provide hours of fun and eliminate boredom, but, most importantly, your children will learn more about Jesus!
I always welcome your thoughts and suggestions so please feel free to email me at brenda@brendawalsh.com - I’d love to hear from you!
Jesus is coming soon and now more than ever, we need to instill solid Christian values in the hearts of our children. Please keep us in prayer as we work together to teach children around the world about their Best Friend, Jesus.
Remember . . . It’s Kids Time to share Jesus!
Miss Brenda
